AMC Vessel

Below you will find the standard Australian VHF / HF Marine frequency allocations as well as any other relevant Maritime information and or frequencies.

While it has been rumored that 27MHz Marine HF frequencies are no longer in use, according to the ACMA they are still used though not very much, it's been said that while they are still in use your best to get a VHF transceiver for your boat, or space permitting, carry both. Also be sure to carry all safety equipment as well as an EPIRB.

Please be aware that some frequencies may carry telephone traffic (Phone Patches) and as such are illegal to monitor, if you come across such transmissions you should change frequencies immediately or cease listening to that transmission in particular.
