Please Read This Agreement Thoroughly From Start To Finish, Failure To Do So Or Skipping Sections May See Your Membership Rejected Without Notice Or You Permanently Banned From This Forum Without Warning!

****Please be aware that we will soon be changing forum software which will have new signup procedures****
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
As from the 26/10/2009 our signup procedure has changed, we no longer accept ANY free email accounts AT ALL, this is mostly due to spammers but also for security reasons, please see below.
Signing Up To This Forum:
To become a member you will now need to use a valid ISP email address **, we will no longer accept free or non genuine ISP email accounts (i.e. Hotmail, Yahoo, yeah.net, GMail etc etc), if you sign up using one then your membership request will automatically be rejected without notice by our system, when you signup you will also be asked to give a brief reason as to why you want to become a member, please give a proper and genuine reason for wanting to do so, ones such as "wanna join" "join" "sign me up" "Hi there" "interested" or any other short and non creative or informative reasons will see your request denied, simply put, don't waste our time.
PLEASE NOTE: If however you have a genuine reason for not being able to use your ISP email address you will need to contact us to discuss an alternative method of verifying your membership application, please email help@SPAMscanningtasmania.org for help. (removing the SPAM trap first)
We can, and do check, any membership requests that we consider non genuine, suspicious, or not satisfying the reasons for wanting to becoming a member, if you still cannot satisfy us we will simply deny your request without notice, you have been warned!
** Once signed up members are then free to change and use which ever email address they prefer, a valid ISP email is only for signup verification so we know your a genuine member, your email address will never be passed on or given out.
Fair Use Policy:
By signing up to be a member of this forum you hereby agree that you will use your account on a regular basis, we class "regular" as signing into your forum account at least once every 3 months, and all though we encourage ALL members to post as often as they can it is not mandatory to become or remain a member of this forum, so long as we can see you using your account (reading posts or making use of the forum) we class you as an active member, however should you not sign-in to your account for 3 consecutive months it will become suspended and you will be notified of this via email, you will then have 14 days in which to contact us to re-enable your account should you want to remain a member, if you fail to contact us within those 14 days your account will be automatically deleted by our system, so basically it's a case of "USE IT OR LOSE IT!".
Once becoming a new member it would also be beneficial to all, and appreciated, if you could post just a quick introduction about yourself and what you like to monitor in the appropriate section on the forum, this allows members to get to know you and what part of the hobby interests you or what you like to listen to, and it also helps break the ice a bit to!
User Names / ID's:
When signing up to become a member please be sure to use an appropriate and suitable Forum Name and USER ID, any stupid, offensive or out right inappropriate names will see your membership cancelled and your account deleted immediately, so please be sensible and think carefully before choosing a username and account ID.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON POSTING:
Posts regarding cordless telephones (or any communications carried over the Public Switched Telephone Network - PSTN) are not allowed to be discussed on this forum what so ever and if you do so you will be warned only once before your account is deleted, this is NOT negotiable, if in doubt of the suitability of your intended post please seek advice from a Staff member.
Please also be aware that any information of a sensitive nature that could endanger the lives of any person(s) or organisation(s), including but not limited to Police, SES, TAS and TFS are strongly frowned upon, should we deem your post as not acceptable or if your information is of a to sensitive nature we shall, at our own discretion, remove and or edit your post with or without warning, but where possible we shall attempt to contact you first asking for it to be edited and or removed, however if we deem the information posted by you needs to be removed or edited immediately for security reasons then we shall do so and then contact you to discuss why it was removed or edited, this is for the safety and security of all concerned and to make sure that those that protect us are in turn protected and allowed to do their jobs unhindered and safely.
